Oral Cancer Screenings

At Northview Family Dental, we prioritize the health and well-being of our patients above all, which is why we include oral cancer screenings as a standard part of our comprehensive dental evaluations. By offering these screenings, we aim to detect any early signs of oral cancer, ensuring prompt treatment and the best possible outcomes for our patients.

During the oral cancer screening, Dr. Diaz will conduct a thorough examination of your mouth, including the lips, tongue, throat, and gums, looking for any signs of abnormal tissue or lesions that could indicate cancer. This non-invasive procedure is quick and painless, and it's an essential step in early detection, offering peace of mind and essential preventive care for your oral health.

If necessary, a biopsy will be taken during your visit to accurately diagnose any suspicious areas, ensuring the most effective treatment plan can be developed.
